Jake formed Christensen Development in 2003 as an urban infill and historic renovation development company based in Des Moines, Iowa. The focus of the company has been to create spaces within infill projects, mixed use redevelopments, historic renovation projects in downtown Des Moines and Omaha. The company has completed numerous historic renovations, mixed use projects, hotels, retail centers, Multi-family projects, and medical offices.
Jake was honored with the Des Moines Community Champion award in 2015, listed in the 2015 Book of Lists as one of the 60 Leaders You Should Know and was a member of Des Moines’ Forty Under 40 in 2005. Jake was a member of the 2005 Greater Des Moines Leadership Class. Currently, Jake serves as a member of the Des Moines Airport Authority, Greater Des Moines Convention & Visitors Bureau, Dowling Catholic High Foundation Board, Urban Land Institute, Downtown Community Alliance Executive Committee and Operation Downtown Board.

Angie has over 12 years of experience as a development consultant in the Des Moines Metropolitan area. She specializes in working with development clients from start to finish on projects, including site selection and the entitlement process. Angie has the unique ability to move projects forward by working with owners and government agencies in identifying funding sources. She has extensive experience with the State of Iowa’s, Historic Tax Credit, Workforce Housing Tax Credit, CDBG programs, and local TIF and Tax Abatement programs. Within the last three years, Angie has completed three projects under the Historic Credit Program, each project with an approximate completion value of $30 million. She is also knowledgeable in development agreements and current city processes. Angie is a valuable asset to owners who do not have developers on staff.
Angie was honored as one of Des Moines’ Forty Under 40 in 2105, serves on the Des Moines’ Urban Land Institutes Programming Committee, Vice President of the Executive Board of Neighborhood Development Corporation and is a part of the Kingdom Cares 1200 club.

As Project Administrator, Kelli assists in project coordination and schedule management, she also tracks the project document flow for development projects and acquisitions. Kelli keeps all the team members working toward project completion by managing the project tracking system for the team as well as managing investor and partner communications. Kelli also handles billing and payables.
